Tomas Kympl

Biography

Tomas Kympl, czech composer, lyricist, singer, orchestrator, instrumentalist and record producer.

He was born in Prague on 24 March 1975. In years 1989 - 2001 studied Prague Conservatory, Music academy - drums, piano and composition.

Range of his author´s activity starts from classical music, spiritual, jazz, popular music, chanson, musical up to film music.

Since 2001, he has been represented by the international publishing company Warner Chappell. Composition New York was a winner in the Instrumental category in the UK Songwriting Contest 2016. Composition Ave Maria was a winner in the Open category in the UK Songwriting Contest 2015.

His music is used by brands: Czech television, Czech radio, BBC, Epic, History, Warner Bros, Cadbury,

Aston Martin, Sony, Chrysler, Adidas.

Tomas Kympl composed songs for many national and international classic and pop artists, including

Peter Dvorsky, Jiri Suchy, Petr Janda, Michael Kocab, Helena Vondrackova, Daniel Landa, Jitka Zelenkova, Jiri Korn, Hana Zagorova, Josef Laufer, Radka Fisarova, Ladislav Krizek, Natalie Kocabova, Bohus Matus, Ladislav Boldi, Petr Kolar, Honza Jares, David Kraus, Kamil Strihavka, Jaroslav Satoransky, Josef Dvorak, Jiri Labus, Jiri Hromada, Jan Hrusinsky, Nobles and other.

His compositions are featured on over 150 CD & LP releases.

At present time, Tomas Kympl's interest is focused more on advertising, television, theater and film music.
