Diskuse:Ktož jsú boží bojovníci

Je správné, aby v sekci Populární skladby byly skladby, které jednak do populární hudby vůbec nepatří a které jsou hlavně pravděpodobně od encyklopedicky nevýznamných skupin? První problém se vyřeší změnou nadpisů, ale druhý problém se asi vyřeší leda smazáním informací o skladbách nevýznamných skupin. Palu 17. 11. 2010, 14:42 (UTC)

Pardon my English...

The English version of this article translates "Protož střelci, kopiníci, řádu rytieřského, sudličníci a cepníci" as "Therefore, archers, crossbowmen, halberdiers of knightly rank, Scythemen and macebearers", but my readings on the Hussites battle formations seem to indicate that the weapons would have been crossbows, spears, guns, and flails. Also, does "řádu rytieřského" referto a specific chivalric order? Or does it just mean "knight"?

"Vy pakosti a drabanti" is translated as "You beggars and wrongdoers, remember your soul!" But "pakosti" seems in other contextx to indicate the lowest ranked military (servants/fieldhands) and the 1675 Czech Bible uses "drabanti" where the English Bible uses "guards"
